This fall I photographed another wonderful Gather Seattle event, this time at Knack Co Working. A beautiful space in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The panel was led by Gray magazine’s Tiffany Jow and was made up of Built by Civilizations founders Michael Ellsworth + Gabriel Stromberg + Gary Gutch.

I found the discussion incredibly inspiring, people taking their passions and creating a better world through those avenues. Beyond my interest in design, I seek conversations that supports the individuals path and acknowledges the beauty in each.

We can create change with what we love. In ways that fuel us. I think it is important to be reminded of this, especially as artists. It’s the meaning in our work that drives the next creation and keeps us hungry for inspiration.
